The St. Thomas Aquinas College men's lacrosse team played their first ever home game on Saturday afternoon, hosting the Firebirds of UDC. Thomas Hollaway had 3 goals for the Spartans and Kevin Alvora added 2.
The St. Thomas Aquinas men's lacrosse team lost to Saint Rose, 12-3 on Sunday afternoon. Kevin Alvora scored two goals for the Spartans while David Pearl added one. Nicholas Casuccio and Charlton Phillips each added an assist. Ryan Mello had 16 saves for the Spartans.

The St. Thomas Aquinas men's lacrosse team is set to begin their first season of competition with a road game at NYIT tomorrow afternoon. The Spartans will compete on an independent schedule this year under the guidance of head coach, John Carrozza. They will participate as a member of the East Coast Conference beginning the Spring of 2017.
St. Thomas Aquinas head coach Tobin Anderson is the Division II Bulletin/Schelde Sports Coach of the Month for November. Anderson led his Spartans to an early 4-1 mark through Nov. 29 and started the season with one of the biggest stories of the young campaign when his team downed Division I member St. Johns 90-58 in an exhibition tilt on the road.
