The St. Thomas Aquinas Men's Basketball team will host its 4th Annual Tip-off Dinner at the beautiful Rockland Country Club in Sparkill, NY. The evening is scheduled for Thursday October 26th and typically consists of well over 200 guests, including alumni, local coaches, college administrators, parents, families and friends of the program. Cocktail hour will begin at 6:30 with the dinner following at 7:30 pm.
Former Xavier, Providence & Virginia Head Coach and current CBS Broadcast analyst Pete Gillen will be the guest keynote speaker for the evening.
Head Coach Tobin Anderson will introduced the 2017-2018 squad; which includes seven members of the ECC Championship Team that advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight last season, along with eight new faces.
The St. Thomas Aquinas Men's Basketball team will open it's season at the Division II Hall of Fame Classic in Evansville, Indiana on November 3rd.
The Spartans are coming off a 28-6 season and are the reigning, defending ECC Regular Season and Tournament Champions as well as the NCAA East Regional Champs. The team will look to recapture those titles and a return trip to the NCAA Division II Tournament starting with their first East Coast Conference game on December 8th at Daemen College.
