Spartans Jump To #3 In Latest NABC Men's Basketball National Poll

In the midst of a nine game winning streak, including two more victories over both LIU Post and NYIT in the last week, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball team has moved up two spots to #3 overall in all of Division II Men's Basketball according to the latest national rankings released on Tuesday afternoon by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC)

The 9-0 Spartans are currently being led by Justin Reyes (Junior/Guard & Forward/Haverhill, MA) - averaging 20.3 points per game & 9.7 rebounds per game, while Chaz Watler (Senior/Guard/Brooklyn, NY) and James Mitchell (Junior/Guard/Washington, DC) - are both averaging 3.7 assists per game.

The team's high powered offense averages 86.7 points scored per game, while their stingy defense only surrenders on average 73.3 points per game.

St. Thomas Aquinas College will return to the friendly confines of Aquinas Hall this Thursday evening for a 7:30pm match-up with the University of Bridgeport, before hitting the road for a Saturday afternoon 1pm tip-off in our Nation's Capital against the University of the District of Columbia.
