The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished out the 2018 Spring season finishing 8th in the NCAA East/Atlantic Super Regional. Michael Miranda and Hamish Houston completed their final rounds as Spartans including four NCAA Regional Appearances and two NCAA Championship trips in 2016 and 2017.
The Spartans held a one stroke lead over the field after the opening round to sit in first place entering Tuesday's round. Senior Michael Miranda shot a second day score of 76 to put him at +2 for the tournament and tied for 8th place. Fellow senior Hamish Houston shot 72, 77 and is currently among the top twenty, tied for 19th place.
The 2017 - 2018 Men’s golf team had a strong season that has earned them a 15th straight selection to the East/Atlantic Super Regional. The tournament will be played at The Resort at Glade Springs, Cobb Course from May 7th-May 9th in Daniels, WV. The Spartans are the #3seed in the East Region and will compete in the East/Atlantic Regional.

Michael Miranda shot an opening round score of 72 to help the Spartans. The tournament was played at Ballston Spa Country Club in Ballston Spa, NY.
The St. Thomas Aquinas Men’s golf team finished 4th in their annual Spring Invitational down at Rum Pointe Seaside Links, shooting a team score of 602 (301-301) over two rounds. Leading the team was senior Michael Miranda, who finished runner-up with a two day score of 142 (69-73). Miranda was one of two players in the field to finish the event in red numbers.
Senior Hamish Houston earned his first collegiate victory at the Post Fall Invitational Tuesday afternoon after carding rounds of 71 - 72. Houston’s 143 (+1) total was his lowest career 36-hole score and was good enough for a 2-shot victory of SNHU’s Sam Riemer.
The St. Thomas Aquinas Men?s golf team earned a 2nd place finish this weekend at the Dominican College ?Charger Challenge. The Spartans fired team rounds of 298 and 299 falling to host Dominican, who carded an impressive final round of 5 under par as a team.
Senior Mike Miranda led the men's golf team to a second place finish behind host SNHU in the Penmen Invitational. During the first round of play, junior Jack Phillips shot his low collegiate round firing a stellar 69. Miranda had a solid round carding a 70, while Hamish Houston posted 71. Shkelqim Kukaj shot 73 while Tom Holmes posted 77 in his first round ever as a Spartan.

INDIANAPOLIS —The NCAA has announced the field of 80 teams and 32 student-athletes competing as individuals that have been selected to participate in regional competition of the 2017 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships.

In the 36-hole event, the Spartans posted rounds of 284 and 288 to shoot a combined 4-under par 572, good for a 23 shot victory over the runner-up, Dominican College.
