Spartans Finish 3rd at Franklin Pierce Invitational

The men’s golf team opened the fall season with a 3rd place finish in the 2017 Franklin Pierce Invitational. The Spartans posted rounds of 301 and 316 for a 2-day total of 617.

Senior Michal Miranda led the team with a 4th place finish with a 2-day score of 149 after carding rounds of 69 and 80. Hamish Houston earned a 10th place finish with a 2-day score of 151 with rounds of 75 and 76. Sophomore Shkelqim Kukaj shot consecutive rounds of 79 for a t-21 finish while Jack Phillips carded rounds of 78-82 for a t-29 finish. Rounding out the team scoring was Glenn Watson who shot rounds of 83-81 leaving him in a tie for 40th place.

The Spartans are back in action this weekend at the Southern New Hampshire Invitational in Hanover, NH.
