The St. Thomas Aquinas women's field hockey team beat Molloy College 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Spartans scored all three of their gaosl in the second half. The first goal coming from Jacqueline Dowling. Dowling continued her streak going scoring in back to back games for the Spartans. Briannah Thorne scored off a penalty stroke and Arielle Rodriquez added the Spartans third goal. The Spartans dominated the offense with 22 shots to the Lions 7 and both teams were even in penalty corners.
Suzanne Clarke and Kaitlyn Gee shared minutes in goal with Clarke recording three saves and Gee recording one save and earning the win. The Spartans will return to action on Wednesday when they head to Manhattanville for a 4:00 p.m. game.
