Starting pitcher, Scott Sadowksi went 5 innings, allowing only 3 hits and one earned run to earn the victory and Mike Triana went 3-for-5, with 2 runs, 2 stolen bases, and an RBI to pace the Spartan offense to a 7-5 win over Dominican College today at Veterans' Memorial Field.

Catcher Jonathan Garvey went 2-for-2 and scored a run and Vin Malzahn went 1-for-3 and drove in his team-leading 32nd and 33rd RBIs. Reliever Chris Schoepe blanked Dominican in the 6th, 7th, & 8th innings and Jon Della Monica picked up his 6th save.

The Spartans improve to 22-19 overall and 12-8 in the ECC and are currently one game out of 1st place. They return to action on Friday at Caldwell College and then take on Mercy College for an ECC 3-game series beginning Saturday in Dobbs Ferry.
