Mike Pasch threw 7 1/3 solid innings and John Mazzello went 4-for-4 to lead St. Thomas over Bridgeport 7-2 in the third and deciding game of their 3-game series. With the victory the Spartans notched their 4th consecutive ECC win and now stand 11-8 in the conference. John Muller, Javier Diaz, Vincent Malzahn, and Ottice Reda each collected 2 hits. Muller, Malzahn, and Reda had 2 RBIs each. Reda supplied the big blow, a 2-run homer, to give STAC a 3-0 lead in the 2nd inning. Muller closed the game striking out 3 of the 5 batters he faced.
