IN MEMORY OF:
TEAM SPORTS MEDICINE PHYSICIAN
John Sonzogni, MD
Dr. John Sonzogni, age 52 died on Monday, December 1, 2008 following a brief illness. After 17½ years of devoted service to St. Thomas Aquinas College athletics, he was taken from us too soon. He is survived by his son, brother, two sisters, and his parents of Bergen County. He was an avid boater and sports enthusiast. Dr. Sonzogni was always learning and sharing new techniques to treat/prevent athletic injuries. His dedication was truly evident in the fact that he always put the care of our student-athletes first and foremost with a priority for getting each back to their field of play as quickly and safely as possible. He was a member of the American Academy of Sports Medicine and the physician for various Bergen and Rockland County Colleges and High School Athletic Departments. He lived each and every day to the fullest and cherished every moment spent with his son.
We hold you close within our hearts and there you shall remain.
To walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again.
So rest in peace Dear loved one and thanks for all you've done.
We pray that God has given you the crown you've truly won.
