Mike Abelard & Shpresa Liharevic were named Spartan Athletes of the Month for January.

The freshman sprinter placed 4th overall at the Metro Coaches Invitational breaking a school record in the 60 meter dash (6.95) and the 200 meter dash (21.92). Abelard is ranked #1 in All NY colleges. The rookie also broke a STAC record in the 55 meter dash at the Great Dane Invitational running at 6.53.
